Is your accomodation fully catered?
The main house comes with chef and housekeeper. The cottages are self-catering.

Can I bring an animal with me?
Yes. Your horse can come - please speak to us about stable availability and any other requirements.

Well-behaved dogs are also welcome although we would point out that there are free range birds on the estate, so if you feel the temptation might be too much...

Are children welcome?
Yes. Townleigh is a gated estate in a rural location so they are more than safe. We can offer you a baby sitting service as required and riding lessons are available at the equestrian center on request.

Can I book online?
Yes. You can click on the 'book today' button which will show you availability or you can book via some of our other online agents: lastminute.com, expedia etc...

Can I bring some work with me?
If you must. We can extend a phone-line with broadband capacity to you.

Is there any nightlife locally?
There are a few good restaurants in Launceston - Creole, Indian, Italian and some lively bars. Exeter and Plymouth have the whole range of theatre, live music, cinema, eateries etc..

Where is the nearest airport?
Exeter Airport is 40 miles, Plymouth Airport is 18 miles and Newquay 37 miles. We can arrange a car if you'd like.

The nearest train station is Okehampton (11 miles) and there is a coach station in Launceston (6 miles).

By car, we are a couple of minutes from the A30 - the main route into and down the county.

What happens if I can't come?
We will sympathise but please see our terms and conditions.

When is your changeover day?
Saturday but we are flexible in these matters... just let us know
