Arts and Crafts Holidays in Devon
We are lucky to be situated on the Devon and Cornwall border - in rolling countryside with stunning views of the moors.
We focus mainly on rural and traditional arts; subjects that fit in with our rural location, but it could be anything that we think people might like to do which is not available nearby or even elsewhere in the country.
Being privately run, we have the flexibility to respond to demand from our guests. Qualifications are not given, or exams held, but we aim to help people if they want to take the skills to a higher level.
Our objectives are to provide a friendly and welcoming setting where people can enjoy learning something new which will enrich their lives, and have a great day out with like-minded people.
We are also not far from The Devon Guild of Craftsmen - the largest creative crafts centre in South West England. This was refurbished in 2004, with jubilee gallery, extended craft shop and 'the terrace' cafe in a grade 2 listed riverside mill on the edge of Dartmoor.
